What Bojan Miovski has been told by Girona as ‘stunning’ Rangers move lined up
Bojan Miovski looks set to join Rangers before the transfer window closes.
The striker is well-known in Scotland for his prolific spell at Aberdeen, where he netted 44 goals in 98 matches.
As a result, Rangers wanted to sign Miovski last summer, but the 26-year-old opted to move to Catalan side Girona instead.
However, his time in Spain now looks set to come to an end, with Rangers reigniting their interest in Miovski as Russell Martin looks to reinforce his attacking options.

Girona tell Bojan Miovski he has no future at the club
Miovski moved to Girona from Aberdeen for £6.8million just last summer, signing a four-year deal.
However, the North Macedonian international has struggled for form and has only netted four times in 23 matches.
Now, according to the Daily Mail on 23 August, Girona have told Miovski that he has no future at the club.
- Miovski netted 26 times in all competitions during his last season at Aberdeen
- The striker was named in the PFA Scotland Team of the Year for the 2023/24 campaign
- Miovski has struggled to find form at Girona
This could allow Rangers to seal a “stunning” deal to bring the striker back to Scotland on loan.
While the 26-year-old prefers a permanent move, Rangers may not be able to afford this without a sale. However, the prospect of returning to a familiar landscape could persuade Miovski to accept a loan.
Martin also held a previous interest in the striker during his spells at Swansea and Southampton.

Can Bojan Miovski recover his form at Rangers?
It is no secret that Miovski has disappointed in La Liga. From being an unstoppable striker in Scotland, the 26-year-old only managed to avoid relegation by a point last season.
According to Fbref on 24 August, Miovski was extremely poor last season, with only his passing completion being decent.
Bojan Miovski stats over the last 365 days per 90 minutes | |
Non-penalty goals | 0.15 |
Shots | 1.52 |
Assists | 0.08 |
Shot-creating actions | 0.91 |
Passes attempted | 11.84 |
Passing completion | 78.2% |
Progressive passes | 0.38 |
Progressive carries | 0.30 |
This is extremely concerning, especially if Rangers are set to rely on the 26-year-old to be their main striker this season.
Therefore, Martin may have a big task on his hands to get the striker’s confidence back and return him to his best.
