Rangers insider drops season-ending injury worry over Cyriel Dessers, plus Hamza Igamane news
Rangers strikers Cyriel Dessers and Hamza Igamane are both currently ruled out with injuries.
Dessers picked up an injury against Viktoria Plzen in mid-week, a game which the Ibrox outfit lost 2-1.
Igamane, who has been linked with an exit, has been missing in action since the fourth week of July.
His last appearance came in the 2-0 win over Panathinaikos in the Champions League qualifier.

David Edgar feared Dessers could have been out for the season
Ahead of Gers’ game against Alloa Athletic on Saturday, Russell Martin issued an update on his players.
Looking at Dessers‘ injury, many feared the worst for the Nigerian and expected a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
However, the Gers boss confirmed that it wasn’t as bad as feared initially, and that he should be back within a few weeks.
David Edgar, host of the Heart and Hand podcast, admitted that initially it looked like he would’ve been out for the rest of the season.
However, after Martin’s update, Edgar believes that Igamane’s injury is worse than Dessers’.
Rangers may consider signing another striker
Injuries to Dessers and Igamane could force Gers into the transfer market, as relying solely on Danilo has proven unreliable.
Dessers, who led the line with 22 goals last season and Igamane, a promising signing who shone in his first season, are sidelined with fitness issues, missing crucial early SPFL matches.
Danilo, the remaining senior striker, has struggled with form and fitness since his £6million move, scoring just four goals in 18 appearances while battling recurring injuries.
His inconsistent output and lack of physicality expose Gers’ vulnerability up top, risking a faltering title challenge.
While Mikey Moore has joined on loan, he prefers playing out wide, so he may not be the answer to their goal-scoring woes.
