Feyenoord have been among a number of clubs linked with a move for Rangers striker Hamza Igamane, Ibrox News has learned.

After an impressive debut season at Ibrox, the Morocco international could part ways with the club.

Feyenoord will not table a club-record bid for Hamza Igamane

While the Dutch side are keen on the 22-year-old, they are not willing to shatter their transfer record for him, sources tell Ibrox News.

This comes after reports claimed that Feyenoord were willing to break the bank to sign Igamane.

Sem Steijn is Feyenoord's record signing and they paid around £8.6million to secure his services.

As that valuation is significantly less than the near £15million Gers are looking for the 22-year-old, Ibrox News understands a move to Feyenoord is not on the cards, as things stand.

Rangers must not budge from their valuation for Igamane

Rangers’ decision to hold firm at a £15million asking price for Igamane is prudent, given his immense potential and versatility.

The 22-year-old Moroccan’s 16 goals and three assists in 46 appearances and his all-round play highlight his value as a dynamic centre-forward or winger.

Interest from clubs like Everton, Leicester, West Ham, Lille and Marseille underscores his rising stock, giving Rangers leverage.

Igamane’s flair makes him a cornerstone for the Ibrox outfit’s attack.

If no club meets the valuation, retaining him benefits Rangers, as his youth and multi-positional skill set bolster their Scottish Premiership and European campaigns.

His development could further increase his value, ensuring long-term financial and competitive gains.
