Nico Raskin may look to leave Rangers

Nico Raskin’s future at Rangers has recently become more complicated.

Raskin was dropped against Viktoria Plzen after Martin had ranted about some players’ attitudes.

Therefore, speculation about the midfielder’s future has increased, with interest already high.

There were talks about him signing a new deal. However, given the recent developments, Keith Jackson believes that Raskin may look to move on.

He said: “If there’s a problem between Raskin and Martin, then it might be a little bit trickier than originally anticipated to stick a contract in front of him to extend, even if you’re prepared to give him a significant pay bump.

“Because if he doesn’t feel happy or wanted or trusted as part of Martin’s key group of leaders, he may well feel now might be the best time to look at something else.”

Ridvan Yilmaz set for Ibrox exit

Ridvan Yilmaz looks all but certain to leave Rangers this summer.

The Turkey international moved to Ibrox in 2022, but his time in Scotland has been marred by inconsistent form and injury issues.

Now, Serdal Adali, the president of Turkish side Besiktas, has confirmed that an agreement has been reached Yilmaz.

The transfer is expected to be completed soon, ending the full-back’s stay in Scotland.
