Only Mohammed Salah outranked Rangers’ next signing last season as terms finalised
Russell Martin has continued to welcome new additions to his Rangers side as they have returned to competitive action in recent weeks.
The Gers’ tally of new arrivals now stands at nine so far this summer, and their business in the transfer market doens’t look like slowing down any time soon.
Mikey Moore became the latest man to sign off on a move to Ibrox, as the Govan outfit continue to grow into a new-look unit under the new boss.
Martin’s charges were held to a frustrating draw away at Motherwell on the opening day of their Premiership campaign, but they could now be about to receive more firepower imminently.

Only Salah outperformed Antman as contract terms agreed
Oliver Antman appears destined to become the next signing for Rangers, as they have edged closer towards concluding a deal in the last few days.
The Gers are set to pay a multi-million pound fee for the Finnish international, who shone on the wing for Go Ahead Eagles last time out.
It now appears that he will be moving to Ibrox imminently, with a deal having been agreed between the two clubs, and personal terms also now finalised.
The 23-year-old will sign a four-year deal with the Gers, with the option of an extra season, according to the Rangers Review (3 August).
- Antman has only been at Go Ahead Eagles for one season
- He spent over five seasons with Danish side Nordsjaelland prior to that move
- His tally of 21 goal contributions came from jsut 32 league games
The wideman looks set to be a hugely exciting addition for Rangers and it’s clear to see why.
He notched six goals and 15 assists in the Eredivisie last term, and that tally of assists was only bettered by Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah across Europe’s top five leagues.
Antman is the type of player who has the potential to become a major threat in the Premiership, and potentially one of the league’s big-name stars.
When you throw in the fact that he also has ample room to develop further, this looks like it will be an exceptional piece of business.

Rangers have excellent options out wide
Rangers have operated with Kieran Dowell on the wing at times recently, but they now have a plethora of interesting options available to play on the flanks.
Findlay Curtis has put his name forward to become a genuine first-team option with some strong showings against Panathinaikos, while Djeidi Gassama has also had an immediate impact.
Add Antman into that equation, and there should be no shortage of quality chances created for the likes of Cyriel Dessers and Hamza Igamane.
That level of depth is certainly a welcome bonus at Ibrox, as quality options certainly haven’t been at a premium over the last few seasons.
The fact that Antman outperformed the likes of Lamine Yamal and Florian Wirtz last term is a huge positive for Rangers, and they will surely be desperate to help him get up and running in the Premiership.
