Ross McCausland exit from Rangers ‘closer’ as work continues in background
Rangers could potentially be close to announcing a departure from Ibrox as Ross McCausland attracts interest this transfer window.
The Northern Ireland international is wanted in the MLS, with St Louis City seen as early favourites for his signature.
Aris also have McCausland on their radar, and the growing interest in the forward gives the Gers an opportunity to cash in on him.
The 22-year-old has struggled for regular game time at the Light Blues, and his departure seems to be a matter of time.

Aris close to McCausland transfer as Rangers continue work on deal
McCausland’s potential move to Aris this summer looks “closer”, Chris Jack says.
The journalist revealed that “work is still continuing in the background” regarding the Northern Irishman’s exit from Ibrox.

It doesn’t look like the 22-year-old is part of Russell Martin’s plans after being left out of the squad for the Champions League qualifier against Panathinaikos.
Speaking on The Rangers Review (25 July), Jack said: “The other one that seems closer is McCausland to Aris. Work is still continuing in the background on that one.”
Findlay Curtis the next big superstar at Ibrox after Panathinaikos heroics
Findlay Curtis announced himself at Ibrox against Panathinaikos with an impressive goal as the Gers won the first leg of the second qualifying round 2-0 on 22 July.
Martin preferred Kieran Dowell in his starting lineup against the Greek outfit, giving McCausland something to think about his future.
If the Northern Ireland international can’t get into the Light Blues team despite the apparent lack of depth up front, then he certainly has no future in G51.
While Rangers have signed Djeidi Gassama from Sheffield Wednesday, they arguably need more quality in the attack.
Hamza Igamane and Cyriel Dessers’ futures at Ibrox are uncertain, undoubtedly giving Kevin Thelwell a massive headache in terms of recruitment before the end of August.
Crystal Palace forward Jesurun Rak-Sakyi has emerged as a target for the Gers, and McCausland’s departure could potentially help fund part of that deal in G51.
