Rangers news round-up: Patati given ‘all-clear’ as goalkeeper closes in on Ibrox exit 

Rangers are set to do more business this transfer window despite how busy the summer has been at Ibrox.

Russell Martin has brought in eight new faces so far, with more expected before the end of the summer. 

Many of these stars shone in Rangers’ 2-0 win over Panathinaikos on Tuesday, to give the Gers an excellent chance of progressing in the Champions League.

Ryan Jack reacts to Curtis heroics against Panathinaikos

Findlay Curtis was one of Rangers’ best performers against Panathinaikos.

The 18-year-old netted the opener at Ibrox, with the goal changing the complexion of the match in the Gers’ favour. 

It was an excellent strike from the youngster as he cut inside before firing the ball into the corner of the net.

Now, after claiming his first goal for Rangers’ senior side, he received many comments on his Instagram.

One of these was from former Gers star Ryan Jack who said: “Congratulations mate, well done.”

Feyenoord will not table a club-record bid for Hamza Igamane

One star whose future is up in the air is Hamza Igamane.

The attacker has been consistently linked away from Rangers this summer, with multiple teams interested.

One team that has been linked with Igamane is Dutch giants Feyenoord.

There had been claims that Feyenoord were willing to break their transfer record to seal Igamane

However, Ibrox News has since discovered that a move to the Dutch club is not on the cards for the 22-year-old.

Weslley Patati expected to clear pre-transfer medical

Incomings-wise, Rangers have been linked with Weslley Patati.

The Maccabi Tel Aviv winger picked up 23 goal contributions last season in 39 matches.

Rangers are expected to make a bid for Patati, which has increased hopes that the Gers can complete the transfer. 

Now, Dr Brar has confirmed that he “doesn’t expect” the winger to have any issues with a medical.

Mason Munn set to join Dunfermline Athletic on loan

Mason Munn is seen as a highly-rated goalkeeper in Rangers’ squad.

Having joined the Glaswegians in 2022, he has since impressed in the academy as he continues his development.

The 19-year-old has since made his debut for the first team at Ibrox in the 5-0 win over Fraserburgh in January.

Now, Munn looks set to go out on loan to Scottish side Dunfermline Athletic in order to get more first-team action.
