Speaking on Hotline Live (14 July), the journalist said: “Leicester are obviously bringing in a new manager. What if the new manager comes in and says, ‘Well, hold on a second here, I would rather be keeping Coady than letting him go’?
“But I certainly think it has been placed on pause for the time being while Leicester are sorting out one or two things at their end.
“Coady is absolutely the guy Martin wants to bring in.”
