Jack Butland ‘exit set in stone’ as Rangers finalise replacement

Either Butland or Kelly will then “likely” be shown the door as one of them will be the third choice post Rushworth’s arrival.
Butland’s contract at the club runs out in the summer of 2027 while Kelly has entered the final year of his deal.

Rangers should consider cashing in on Butland, as his contract, with two years remaining until 2027, positions him for a decent transfer fee while his value remains high.
At 35, Butland’s 102 appearances for Gers with 39 clean sheets showcase reliability, but his 104 goals conceded suggest they can do better.
With Rushworth on the radar, who is a younger, high-potential goalkeeper, moving Butland on makes sense.
