Rangers ‘fear Conor Coady transfer collapse’ as complications arise
Rangers are facing uncertainty regarding a move for Leicester City centre-back Conor Coady this transfer window.
The Gers are seemingly hoping to get three new central defenders through the door this summer, with Emmanuel Fernandez already signed from Peterborough United.
Wolves ace Nasser Djiga is also on the radar at Ibrox, with the Light Blues working on getting him on loan from the Premier League outfit.
Russell Martin could also have Coady at his disposal for next season, but the deal may collapse after certain issues have been revealed.

Coady transfer complications emerge as Rangers deal taking long
Some complications have arisen regarding Coady’s potential move to the Gers, Joshua Barrie says.
The Scottish journalist revealed that there has been noise around the time it’s taking to bring the Leicester defender to Ibrox this summer.

Barrie claims that there are some concerns when it comes to the 32-year-old Englishman’s transfer, but more clarity is needed.
Speaking on The Rangers Review (9 July), the journalist said: “Some murmurings about the length of time it’s taking for the Coady deal. Our understanding is that there are perhaps some complications with that one. We’re still trying to get exact clarity on what has happened there.”
Kevin Thelwell should push for Coady transfer soon
Coady was seemingly keen on moving to Ibrox in the ongoing transfer window, and his deal was expected to be imminent recently.
Kevin Thelwell should wrap up a deal for the Leicester defender if he can in the coming days, as there are decisions to be made regarding outgoings.
Robin Propper is wanted by FC Twente, with the Eredivisie outfit working on the Dutch defender’s return, but that may be on hold until the Gers sign replacements first.
Rangers also have Leon King and Ben Davies in their ranks, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see them leave this summer either.
Clinton Nsiala’s future is also under the microscope, with the former AC Milan youngster struggling for game time under Barry Ferguson, and the arrival of new centre-backs will only make things more difficult for him.
Coady’s situation will be closely followed by the Ibrox faithful as more developments should be expected in the coming days.
