Hamza Igamane ‘has played last ever Rangers game’ amid exit development

Hamza Igamane continues to be linked with an exit after an impressive 2024/25 campaign at Rangers.

The Moroccan forward moved to Ibrox as a relatively unknown prospect and took some time to get going.

However, once he did, he became one of the first names on the team sheet and a key threat in the final third.

The 22-year-old bagged 16 goals and three assists in all competitions in the 2024/25 campaign.

Lens, Lille, Strasbourg and Rennes are all keen on Igamane

According to Rangers Review (19 June), the Moroccan is a man in demand this summer.

It’s been claimed that Lens, Strasbourg, Lille and Rennes are all keen on securing the services of Igamane.

From all their young sellable assets, Rangers view Igamane’s departure as the “most likely” this summer.

Everton and Tottenham were also linked with the Moroccan in January but their interest has not materialised in this window, thus far.

Rangers must look to drive up Igamane’s price

Rangers must not sell Igamane unless they receive an offer they believe won’t come again, ideally above £20million.

The 22-year-old has shown immense potential in the 2024/25 season, scoring 16 goals and providing three assists in 46 appearances, including 4 goals in the UEFA Europa League.

His youth, pace and clinical finishing make him a valuable asset with significant room for growth.

Selling him below £20million would undervalue his current contributions and future potential, especially as his performances in European competitions attract interest from bigger clubs.

Retaining Igamane ensures the Ibrox outfit maintain a key attacking threat while his value appreciates, justifying a high threshold for any transfer offers.
