49ers to utilise Red Bull links at Rangers as a managerial bombshell emerges

Rangers could reap the rewards of the 49ers’ ownership in the summer as they look to fill the vacant manager role.

The Gers are in need of a new permanent head coach after Barry Ferguson was named as interim earlier in the campaign.

This came after the failure of Philippe Clement, who failed to succeed in the Scottish Premiership despite his European credentials with Monaco and Club Brugge.

Now the Light Blues have been linked with a move for a new head coach, which could utilise 49ers links to energy drink giants Red Bull.

49ers to use Red Bull links to hire Rangers manager

The 49ers have been heavily linked with a takeover at Ibrox with talks bubbling under the surface for many months since kicking off in October.

Paraag Marathe and Co. will have hopes of the Light Blues returning to their best after years of struggles in Govan.

This has seen Celtic rise far above their Old Firm rivals, something which the 49ers will be keen on righting when they complete a move to G51.

As a result, a new head coach with top experience could prove to be wise and the links between the 49ers and Red Bull could be a perfect way to find an ideal manager option.

Marco Rose could prove to be the man for the Light Blues after his spells with RB Leipzig and Salzburg throughout his career.

TEAMtalk reported on 29 April that the 48-year-old is under serious consideration at Ibrox and is wanted by many clubs ahead of the summer.

The German has existing strong links to Red Bull, who have ties to the 49ers, which could be utilised when a takeover is eventually completed in G51.

Rangers manager target Marco Rose is now available.

Rose to represent real coup for Rangers

It was only a month ago that Rose was in charge of the Bundesliga side in the Champions League, proving how much quality he possesses.

The head coach has also overseen spells with Borussia Dortmund and Borussia Monchengladbach, proving his standards in the dugout.

This could prove to be a superb appointment for the Gers and would certainly represent a true step in class ahead of the new season.

It would be interesting to know what this would do for someone like Nico Raskin or Cyriel Dessers with their future’s already up in the air.
