Vaclav Cerny could be set for huge eight-game ban after Rangers developments
Vaclav Cerny made all of the headlines after Rangers picked up a huge win against Celtic on Sunday.
Rangers left Celtic Park with all three points in a thrilling contest as Hamza Igamane scored in the 88th minute to give the visitors a 3-2 win.
Barry Ferguson would have been delighted with another win after his side were forced to extra time and penalties to beat Fenerbahce in the Europa League only days before.
Nicolas Raskin and Mohamed Diomande scored the other two goals, but it was Cerny who could face trouble after spraying Celtic fans with water in the late celebrations.

Cerny faces huge Rangers ban
Cerny was taken off in the 82nd minute for Igamane, with the Czechia international on the bench as Rangers were looking to score the winner.
In the 88th minute, Igamane grabbed just that and as the Rangers’ bench went wild, Cerny was seen spraying water on the Celtic fans close to the dugout. This incident was caught live on camera as police and security had to wade in to control the situation.

Ferguson making a strong case for himself at Rangers
Ferguson was appointed as an interim manager after Philippe Clement was sacked back in February.
Clement’s failure to rise to the task and challenge Celtic saw the Glaswegian side drop out of the Scottish Premiership race far too early.
Ferguson had a herculean task on his hands and so far the Scotsman has done a commendable job at Ibrox. He has managed to guide Rangers to the UEFA Europa League quarter-finals by eliminating Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce.
Under Ferguson’s tutelage, Rangers then went on to win at Celtic Park, earning bragging rights, the Light Blues’ performances have improved drastically too as team spirit is uplifted.
Despite Rangers looking for a new manager, Ferguson has put out a strong case for himself to be considered for the permanent managerial role.
Hopefully, Cerny will be sticking around to see how that goes.
