Hamza Igamane exit: Rangers to make ‘Huge profit’ with double transfer

Hamza Igamane and Cyriel Dessers leaving Rangers in the summer transfer window would be no surprise, Chris Jack says.

The Rangers Review journalist suspects both strikers could depart in the coming months, with the Nigerian forward constantly linked with an exit recently.

Jack believes Igamane will attract interest soon, and the Gers will make a hefty profit on his sale.

Speaking on The Rangers Review (5 February), the journalist said: “I wouldn’t be surprised if Dessers moves on in the summer.

“There will be interest in Igamane come the summer and Rangers will make huge profit on him.”

Rangers ready to accept huge double transfer

Dessers had been linked with a move away from Ibrox in the winter transfer window, but the Light Blues have smartly retained his services for now.

It wasn’t surprising for fans to see the 30-year-old possibly vying for a move away from the Glaswegian outfit after falling down the pecking order.

Philippe Clement has preferred Igamane in his plans for some time now, and rightfully so after the 22-year-old’s impressive displays.

Dessers has found his feet once again at Rangers, though, and he has been able to get back into the starting line-up after consistently scoring.

The Bears were wise to keep hold of the former Cremonese striker until the end of the season to maintain strength in depth.

Danilo was finally getting a run of games at the Light Blues before picking up another injury, and his fitness issues are a cause for concern.

The Gers have a big decision to make, as selling both Igamane and Dessers would arguably pose an issue, but bring in massive money.

In other Rangers news, another defender will be signed after developments regarding John Souttar.
