Rangers set to agree triple loan exit before transfer deadline

Rangers look set to let three academy talents leave on loan before the end of the winter window, according to Rangers Review.

The Gers insider reported on 31 January that Archie Stevens, Jacob Pazikas and Blaine McClure are all likely to leave Ibrox on development loans.

This trio are set to follow Kristian Webster, Leyton Grant and Josh Gentles out of Govan after making moves to the Scottish first and second divisions earlier in the window.

Rangers to sanction triple loan exit

It will be music to the Light Blues fans’ ears that loan deals are being utilised to benefit the young players in Govan.

For too long, too many talented players have fallen away and had no impact at Ibrox despite initially showing promising signs.

This has always been due to minutes in the first team being difficult to come by under multiple managers where temporary moves away would have made sense for all parties.

For whatever reason, there appeared to be a reluctance to part ways with these academy prospects, with a view to benefitting the Gers’ B team.

Now it looks like the addition of the likes of Nils Koppen and Patrick Stewart behind the scenes at Ibrox has resulted in a change.

With multiple academy players already out on loan, three more starlets look set to follow which will surely help them come closer to reaching their potential.

In other Rangers news, Ally McCoist was stunned by what one star did in the 2-1 win against Union SG.
