Preview: Dundee United v Rangers: Team news, how to watch, weather latest
Rangers will aim to bounce back in the Scottish Premiership when they travel to Dundee United on Sunday.
The Gers were seconds away from a monumental draw at Old Trafford in the Europa League (23 January) until Bruno Fernandes scored a 92nd-minute winner in the 2-1 loss against Manchester United.
However, Philippe Clement can look to build form in the SPFL following the 3-0 win against Aberdeen last time out, with a trip to Tannadice Park up next on 26 January.
Preview
While the win against Aberdeen was comprehensive, with Ianis Hagi stealing the headlines, the 13-point gap to Celtic at the top of the SPFL is as daunting as ever.
However, if Rangers can replicate performances such as their display at Old Trafford, Clement can continue to chip away at the deficit.
The Gers went toe-to-toe with Manchester United throughout the 90 minutes, and Cyriel Dessers sent the away support into raptures with his late equaliser, but unfortunately, it wasn’t to be.

Furthermore, there were still concerns for Clement heading back to Glasgow after Nedim Bajrami was a passenger throughout his 70-minute display and Jack Butland punched the ball into his own net for the opening goal.
Nevertheless, Dundee United sit only 10 points behind the Light Blues heading into the contest, and while the visitors have a healthy gap to the rest of the SPFL, the last thing Clement needs is another Aberdeen situation to arise.

Prediction: Dundee United 1-2 Rangers
Although the Gers have a torrid record on the road in the SPFL, the squad will be brimming with confidence after their Europa League display.
Despite returning to Glasgow empty-handed, Rangers proved they can rub shoulders with the best and, more importantly, produce a well-rounded performance away from Ibrox.
On the other hand, Dundee United are struggling for consistent form and should falter against superior opposition.
