Rangers footage: Tam McManus reacts to ‘Clumsy’ controversy v Dundee
Rangers were lucky to not concede a penalty after a “clumsy” moment in the 1-1 draw against Dundee, Tam McManus has said.
The Gers went behind to a sixth-minute strike from Oluwaseun Adewuni in the contest at Dens Park on 9 January, before Vaclav Cerny equalised.
Despite the goal, there was a check on an earlier incident before that as Clinton Nsiala appeared to step on Simon Murray before the counter-attack that led to the equaliser.
After watching the footage closely, McManus said on X: “See it clearer here definitely trods/stands on Simon Murray’s foot. Clumsy.”

The Gers were lucky not to concede a penalty that would have left them two-nil down rather than allowing them to score the equaliser.
Nsiala, who was making his Light Blues league debut did not look confident at first and can count his lucky stars before he grew into the contest, unlike the senior players around him.
It would have been a soft decision but they have been given, luckily for the under-pressure Philippe Clement however Calum Scott did not deem it to be enough for a spot-kick.
The Ibrox side were looking to reduce to gap to Celtic at the top of the table to 13 points rather than 16 but failed to do so after falling to another draw.
That was the second draw in two Scottish Premiership matches after the 3-3 draw against Hibernian (5 January) and does very little to relieve the pressure on the Belgian boss.
If results do not pick up soon then Clement will find himself without a job shortly and the Gers will be back to square one.
