Rangers ace Ianis Hagi exit twist revealed by BBC journalist
Ianis Hagi may find himself surplus to requirements at Rangers in the January transfer window, according to Clive Lindsay.
The BBC journalist reported on 2 January at 13:20 that despite resolving the contractual impasse, the Romania international may still leave the club.
That’s because Hamza Igamane has emerged as a goal threat while Danilo has returned to fitness after his injury and is a regular under Philippe Clement.
Rangers must not make a hasty call on Ianis Hagi
Despite Hagi’s inconsistent performances this season, his versatility and potential to influence games on his day remain valuable assets for Gers.
Known for his ability to play in various attacking roles, the 26-year-old brings a unique skill set with his dribbling and goal-scoring prowess, which can be game-changing when he’s in form.
Although Igamane has shown promise and Danilo has regained his fitness, becoming a regular under Clement, neither of them can play the number 10 role as well as Hagi.
Unless Rangers have a ready and proven upgrade lined up, retaining the Romanian might be prudent.
His retention could provide depth and quality in the squad, offering tactical flexibility and the potential to turn matches in Gers’ favour, especially in crucial moments of the campaign.

It remains to be seen whether or not there are any clubs willing to make an offer, to begin with, for Hagi this month.
