Abdallah Sima sends two-word Rangers message after Europa League 1-1 v Tottenham

Abdallah Sima has shown his love for Nico Raskin after Rangers drew 1-1 against Tottenham on Thursday.

The Gers secured a well-earned point against the Premier League outfit after taking the lead through a second-half Hamza Igamane strike.

Regardless of Dejan Kulusevski’s equaliser, Ibrox was bouncing and the performance of Philippe Clement’s side was superb.

Raskin stood out for the Light Blues and ex-loanee Sima picked him out on Instagram (13 December) as he said: “My guy”

The 23-year-old was terrific in his loan spell in Govan last campaign and it was a blow that he didn’t return for this campaign.

The Senegal international has gone on to be a bit-part player for Ligue 1 side Brest, making just four league starts so far this campaign.

There is no doubt that playing in the Champions League is something that the winger couldn’t turn down but is frustrating to see him featuring so little.

It appears that the Brighton loanee looks back on his spell at Ibrox with fond memories and has made friends with his ex-teammates.

Sending a message to Raskin after the Tottenham game was a nice touch and showed just how positive his performance was on the night.

The Belgian put in an all-action performance at the base of midfield and ultimately helped to secure a point in his newfound position.

It was great to see the 23-year-old perform well and receive recognition from a former teammate over social media.
