Tom Lawrence start v Aberdeen mooted amid Rangers ‘Spark’ admission
Dan Bardell believes Philippe Clement has to start Tom Lawrence for Rangers in their clash against Aberdeen on Wednesday 30 October.
The Gers boss revealed that the Welshman will be available for the trip to Pittodrie as second faces third in the Scottish Premiership.
A defeat against the Dons would leave the Light Blues nine points behind Jimmy Thelin’s side and could prove detrimental for Clement.
Sky Sports and talkSPORT journalist Bardell thinks that Lawrence will return to the starting XI given the importance of the clash.
Speaking exclusively to Ibrox News, Bardell said: “I think they will have to put Lawrence back in.
“Rangers are in need of a spark and I think he can provide that energy and the spark they need.
“Rangers are cut a drift a bit at the moment, nobody could legislate for the start that Aberdeen have had, unbeaten and going really well in the league.
“It feels like a big, big game for Rangers so quite simply, they’ll want to put their best players out for the occasion and Lawrence is one of them.“
Tom Lawrence could start for Rangers against Aberdeen
The 30-year-old missed the clash against St Mirren but it would be a welcome return to see the winger feature against Aberdeen.
This clash is one of the most important of the Gers’ season so far which means they need their best players available to them and Lawrence is certainly one of them.

With five goals so far this season in all competitions, it will be a massive boost for Clement to welcome him back as his side travel to Pittodrie.
