Todd Cantwell big-money update emerges as Rangers to sanction transfer

Todd Cantwell could leave Rangers this summer for a megabucks move to Saudi Arabia amid interest from Al-Qadsiah, according to the Scottish Sun.

The newspaper reported via its website on 4 July that the Ibrox outfit will sanction the exit of the 26-year-old.

Al-Qadsiah have signed James Bisgrove who appears to be eyeing a reunion with the Englishman in the Middle East.

Rangers can get big money for Todd Cantwell amid Saudi riches

Gers can leverage the financial power of Saudi Arabian clubs to secure a significant transfer fee for Cantwell.

With former chief executive Bisgrove now at Al-Qadsiah, there is a potential connection that could facilitate a lucrative deal for Cantwell.

By capitalising on the interest from Saudi Arabia, the Ibrox outfit can quote a high fee for Cantwell, taking advantage of the financial resources available in the Middle East.

This approach would not only allow Rangers to recoup a substantial fee for the player but also potentially strengthen their financial position for future transfer activities.

Selling the attacking midfielder makes sense as he’s not lived up to expectations at Ibrox and if there is genuine interest, he should be allowed to let go.

Hopefully, the club can use the money received from his sale to strengthen the first team.
