Rangers are now unlikely to receive a seven-figure windfall from the sale of Ridvan Yilmaz in the summer transfer window.
The Turkish defender has been linked with an exit this summer, per Football Scotland, but recently made a definitive admission over his Ibrox future.
He stated, in no uncertain terms, that he was happy to be at the club, which means a multi-million sale is off the cards for Gers this summer.

Yilmaz said on 3 June: “I am very happy at Rangers right now and there is no thought about any future transfer for me.
“I am enjoying my break with my family here and I will return to Scotland in time for the pre-season training camp soon.”
Had he wanted to leave, the Scottish side would definitely look to recoup all of what they paid for him back in 2022 or even make a profit.
According to Sky Sports, Gers paid an initial £3.4million, rising to £5million with add-ons.
