Rangers striker Danilo injury update emerges as Doctor spots training image

Rangers striker Danilo appears to be weeks away from the rest of the team in terms of his fitness post injury, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.

The injury expert reacted to an image from him in individual training where he was doing straight line running to build up mobility.

There is a possibility that he returns ahead of pre-season in order to do individual work before he’s ready to go ahead of the 2024/25 season.

Discussing his situation exclusively with Ibrox News, Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, said:

Considering how long he’s been out and the fact he just got back to the field and is only doing straight line running, there could still be a bit of time before he’s back in first team training.

I would expect him to be back at the start of pre-season and he may do some individual work ahead of time in order to get back his mobility.

He does seem a month away from training with the same intensity as the rest of the team.

Danilo hopes to be back to full fitness for Rangers

Danilo has had an injury-ravaged season at Ibrox and will be hoping to return to full fitness for next season.

An intense summer rehab appears to be on the cards and Philippe Clement will be hoping that he’s ready to go from minute one.

This season, he scored four goals and provided an assist in 12 games for Gers and has been replaced by Cyriel Dessers post his injury.

In other Rangers news, a star player may now never be seen at Ibrox after a ground-breaking update has emerged about him recently.
