Rangers: Alan Brazil drops ‘huge’ Celtic admission live on air ahead of Old Firm clash
The Scottish Premiership title is set to come “down to the wire” as Rangers and Celtic battle at the top of the table ahead of the Old Firm derby on Sunday (7 April).
That is according to Alan Brazil, who suggested that the Hoops have the potential to beat Philippe Clement’s side at Ibrox, which will see the two sides continue fighting until the final game of the season.
The Old Firm rivals are currently separated by just one point, though the Gers have a game in hand after their Dundee FC clash was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
Speaking live via talkSPORT on Friday (5 April, 9:28am), Brazil said: “It’s a huge game. I think Celtic can win, but even with a draw, the final game will be at Celtic Park.
“I can see Celtic beating Rangers there. This is going down to the wire, don’t you worry about that.”
Will Rangers overcome Celtic in the Old Firm derby at Ibrox?
Rangers have experienced a dramatic turnaround at Ibrox since the appointment of Clement in October, recovering from the mess that Michael Beale left the club in.
Having already lifted the Scottish Cup with a 1-0 win over Aberdeen in December, the Gers will be hoping to lift another piece of silverware, especially after dropping out of the Europa League with a narrow loss to Benfica.
Clinching the Scottish Premiership would be a massive achievement in Clement’s first season at Ibrox, helping Rangers to just their second title in the last decade, and pipping their rivals in the process.

History would suggest that Brendan Rodgers will have a couple of tricks up his sleeve on Sunday, despite an ongoing rollercoaster of a season at Celtic Park.
Absolutely anything can happen during an Old Firm derby, and Rangers will be keen to rectify their 2-1 loss to the Hoops in December, a match full of controversy and drama.
