Rangers v Hibs: Dylan Vente update shared by Nick Montgomery
Dylan Vente has not been training ahead of the Rangers v Hibs clash on 30 March, according to manager Nick Montgomery.
Speaking to the press ahead of the game, Montgomery stated that despite not being with the team, he is expected to be available at the weekend.
The 24-year-old Dutch striker has made 31 appearances for Hibs in all competitions this season and is a regular starter when fit.
Montgomery said, per Football Scotland [27 March]: “Dylan Vente isn’t back in training yet. But possibly in the next couple of days – so he should be available for the weekend. It just depends on how he goes in his recovery over the next couple of sessions.”
Rangers go in as overwhelming favourites
Gers currently sit second in the Premiership, just one point behind Celtic but with a game in hand, showcasing their strong position in the league.
Additionally, they have historically performed well at Ibrox, which adds to their advantage and makes them overwhelming favourites for this one.
Despite a recent mixed run of form, including a loss in their last league game and elimination from the UEFA Europa League, they possess a talented squad capable of bouncing back and securing crucial victories.
Moreover, Philippe Clement’s side have the added motivation to win this match as they aim to maintain their pursuit of the league title.
Given their competitive position in the table and the importance of securing points to keep pace with Celtic, Gers must win to assert their title credentials and maintain pressure on their rivals.

Victory against Hibs would not only boost their morale but also solidify their position in the title race.
In other Rangers news, European league giants have started their summer transfer activity and have launched a bid for a first-team Gers player with an update shared on his decision.
