Rangers news: Doctor shares potential season-ending Dujon Sterling injury claim
Rangers defender Dujon Sterling risks missing over three months in a worst-case hamstring injury scenario, which will not see him returning before the season ends, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that it is certainly more than tightness in the hamstring as it has led the 24-year-old to miss games.
He picked up an injury 34 minutes into the 2-0 win over Hibs on 10 March and has been out of action since then.
Discussing his situation exclusively with Ibrox News, Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, said:
“The best case would be a Grade 0 injury.
“That would include just tightness in the hamstring without any injury.
“However, as he has missed games, it could be something more serious.
“The worst case would be a Grade 4 full rupture which would be over three months out.“
Sterling adds to the injury woes at Rangers
The likes of Oscar Cortes, Danilo and Abdallah Sima are all out of action while Ryan Jack is also fighting fitness issues.
Sterling is at the risk of missing weeks and months if it is more extreme than first feared so it remains to be seen what the club update is on the Englishman.

He has made just six league starts this season and has played a number of roles under Philippe Clement and Michael Beale previously.
In other Rangers news, European league giants have started their summer transfer activity and have launched a bid for a first-team Gers player with an update shared on his decision.
