Rangers: £2m+ transfer development for Motherwell ace Lennon Miller as Mark Guidi shares reveal
Rangers will have to pay at least £2million to secure Motherwell star Lennon Miller during the summer transfer window amid interest from the Premier League, according to Mark Guidi.
The 17-year-old midfielder impressed pundits and supporters alike with his performance for Stuart Kettlewell’s side at Ibrox as Motherwell ended Philippe Clement’s unbeaten run at Ibrox on Saturday (2 March).
While Guidi, chief football writer of the Sunday Mail, isn’t certain Rangers hold an interest in Miller, he expects people at Ibrox to be considering a move for the teenager, alongside at least four Premier League teams.
Speaking on The Go Radio Show (4 March, 49:45) he said: “I genuinely don’t know if Celtic and Rangers are interested in him. Like Barry said, I’d be amazed if they’re not. He’ll be at least a £2million player and I think he’ll go in the summer.
“Whether Motherwell can get him back on loan would be the one. I do know that there are at least four English Premier League clubs that he’s on the radar of. He’s catching the attention of many, many clubs.”
Will Rangers and Philippe Clement try to sign Motherwell star Lennon Miller?
Against the likes of Nicolas Raskin and John Lundstram on Saturday, it was Miller who stood out in the middle of the park at Ibrox as the 17-year-old excellent broke up play and ran the show for the away side from the middle of the park.
While Rangers were nowhere near their best against Motherwell, the teenager stood out ahead of everyone and his performance would have surely caught the eye of Clement and his scouts at Ibrox ahead of the summer window.

The Belgian has emphasized recruiting players from outside of Scotland ever since he arrived in Glasgow, but the Gers cannot let Miller slip through their fingers as they have done with other players previously.
Hopefully, Rangers are preparing a transfer approach as we speak as Miller could be the cornerstone of the Light Blues’ midfield for years to come if Clement is willing to fork out the £2million fee.
