Rangers points deduction threat clearly on mind as Ibrox fear emerges
Rangers entertained St Mirren on Sunday 3 December, walking away with all three points despite the football on show not exactly warming fans up in the cold.
The Bears released a statement before the game warning against pyrotechnics, something that is on the mind of nearly everyone in Scottish football and could have helped the freeze.
Warning fans that the possession of pyrotechnics in football stadiums is illegal, they also mooted the risk of potential sporting sanctions being handed down.

Sanctions have a wide range, and Finance Expert Dan Plumley told Ibrox News just what could happen to the club if they are potentially charged in the future.
“You would expect a similar narrative in Scotland to start taking place if these things continue because ultimately, the only way you stop them is you hit the club where it hurts and that either means fines or point deductions,” he said.
“We’ve seen fines to date, but you can see the way the sanctions can start to go. I get the sense if it carries on, it’s only a matter of time before Scottish football brings in sanctions as well.”

It looks as though John Bennett and the club are trying to get a clear message across to supporters, with this the last thing they need at this moment in time.
The Daily Record reported on Monday 4 December that Ibrox chiefs are in fear of Hampden bosses now with the potential for leniency now may be out of the window.
This is something to watch and someone will eventually need to be made an example of, but Rangers will be hoping that their warning is listened to and it won’t be them.
All eyes are on the club with some massive games ahead this month.
In other Rangers news, Plumley has insisted that the club can argue they have missed out after a £900m+ deal was signed off
