Official Rangers partner reacts as James Tavernier footage emerges from Ross County
Heart and Hand were blown away by the James Tavernier goal as Rangers secured a 2-0 victory against Ross County on Saturday (26 August).
The Gers captain won the ball back in his own half before running the length of the pitch straight until the edge of the opposition penalty area before scoring a brilliant long ranger.
The shot was so well hit that Ross Laidlaw in the County goal failed to even get his fingertips on the ball.
H&H, the club’s official partner shared the footage on Twitter and wrote, “Sensational”.
Phenomenal
Tavernier is wrongly criticised for just being a set-piece specialist as he can offer so much more from open play as well.
He’s slammed for his lack of defensive output but here, he ends up winning the ball back and dribbling right until the opposition penalty area.
Of all the goals he’s scored for the club, this is certainly right there among the best as it showcases not just one but three different skills.

It shows that he’s good at defending, dribbling straight through midfield and scoring spectacular goals that might end up in the annual award nominations.
Hopefully, this gives him the much-needed motivation ahead of the must-win European clash against Feyenoord.
Getting back into the Champions League will be vital for Gers as it’ll bring them additional funds which can be used to buy new players before the window shuts.
