Rangers star Todd Cantwell sends three-word message amid ‘serious’ injury scare
Rangers midfielder Todd Cantwell has provided a three-word update following his injury scare against Livingston.
The player was “touch and go” to start the Scottish Premiership clash on Saturday (12 August), as per the Daily Record.
The newspaper added that Cantwell survived a “serious scare” in the second half of the match, which Rangers won 4-0.

Cantwell started and played 81 minutes in the victory at Ibrox, but required treatment from medical staff at one point throughout the game.
The midfielder has now updated fans on Instagram following the injury scare, sharing an image of himself receiving treatment with the words: “Keep fighting on.”

Key player
Cantwell has clearly not been fully fit in these early stages of the new season, but Gers boss Michael Beale needs the midfielder to reach full fitness as soon as possible.
The Scottish club have a massive few games coming up in the near future, beginning with the Champions League third round qualifying second leg clash against Servette on Tuesday (15 August).
The Gers travel to Switzerland for the return fixture, having won the first leg 2-1 at Ibrox, a match in which Cantwell played the entire 90 minutes.
He is a key player for the Scottish giants, who will be desperate to get through to the Champions League qualification play-off stage, where a tough test against either PSV or Sturm Graz would await.
Rangers began proceedings this season with a disappointing 1-0 opening day league defeat at Kilmarnock, but their tails should be up after the victories against Servette and Livingston.
In other Rangers news, a BBC Scotland pundit has predicted the upcoming Champions League clash against Servette.
