Rangers confirmed team news v Servette with Connor Goldson and Ryan Jack updates dropped

Rangers will be looking to get the job done against Servette in the second leg on Tuesday (14 August) and Michael Beale has shared the team news.

A draw will be enough for the Scottish giants to go through to the next Champions League qualifying round but they will target a win.

Connor Goldson and Ryan Jack have both been training and are available for the European clash on Tuesday (15 August).

Beale said, “Goldson is back and Ryan (Jack) is also back.”

Win this

While they did what they had to in the first leg, they cannot feel like the job is done and need to target a win here as well.

Going for a draw is always a risk and clubs have paid the price when they’ve done that time and again in the past.

Last season’s Champions League campaign was a disaster and this squad looks more balanced so the fans will be hoping to qualify.

Rangers

The next rounds are going to be extremely difficult but if Gers are to compete with the best they’ve got to test their mettle against some of the continent’s top sides.

Having Goldson and Jack back is a huge boost for Gers and they’re both expected to be in the starting eleven for Beale’s side.

Hopefully, they play as well as they did at the weekend and secure a victory with two early goals which will certainly ease the nerves.
