Out of court settlement now on cards at Rangers after latest news – Finance Expert
We’re delighted to welcome football finance expert Dr Daniel Plumley as our exclusive columnist. Each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Rangers...
Dan Plumley has insisted that an out-of-court settlement is now on the cards after Rangers were sued over the kiosk payment systems at Ibrox.
It comes after the Daily Record reported on 18 May that the club were being sued for £338,000 by Southbank Asset Finance Ltd.
The finance expert admitted it was very unlikely it would reach court again, with a settlement the quickest way to put it to bed so everyone can move on.

“I’d say that it is very unlikely,” he exclusively told Ibrox News.
“You’re looking at an out-of-court settlement there and for that to be done very quickly given the value. It’s one of those that will just kind of get done, put to bed and everyone can move on.”

There are much bigger things for John Bennett to be concentrating on across the summer rather than an ongoing battle in the courts for the club.
With big changes already being made on and off the pitch at Ibrox, the big shifts are expected to continue, hopefully without this lingering in the background for much longer than it needs to.
In other Rangers news, Plumley has insisted that the club can argue they have missed out after a £900m+ deal was signed off elsewhere
