Ianis Hagi starts, Antonio Colak and Bailey Rice on bench – Confirmed Rangers XI v St Mirren

Michael Beale has made four changes to his final Rangers lineup of the season against St Mirren, with Alfredo Morelos among those dropped from the side.

The boss has dropped Leon King, Allan McGregor, Morelos and Glen Kamara from the team, with Ryan Jack, Ianis Hagi, Rabbi Matondo and Robby McCrorie getting the nod in the starting lineup.

Lundstram moves to centre-back in place of King, who drops to the bench alongside fellow academy starlets Adam Devine, Alex Lowry and Bailey Rice.

Lasting impression

It’s the final game of the season in the Scottish Premiership and there is nothing to play for other than pride for both teams this afternoon.

But for Rangers this is the last opportunity for some players to try and make an impression on Beale heading into the new season, where big changes have been promised.

The goodbyes were all done at Ibrox in midweek before the draw with Hearts and there is no room for that now, with the new season starting today essentially.

Rangers

Several players know that a big performance this afternoon could really see their futures changed ahead of the summer window, whether that be convincing teams to make a move for them or securing themselves another chance at Rangers next year.

Academy players will hopefully get an opportunity in the game too following being named on the bench, in what could be the final chance we see some of these players in a blue shirt.

In other Rangers news, Graeme Souness has broken his silence about a potential return to Ibrox.
