Todd Cantwell sends four-word message to Kieran Dowell as Rangers transfer confirmed
Todd Cantwell has welcomed Kieran Dowell to Rangers after the club announced the signature of the latter.
The Gers announced the pre-contract signing of Dowell from Norwich City on Wednesday (24 May).
He will officially join the Scottish Premiership club on 1 July on a three-year deal.
Dowel expressed his delight at the move, posting on Instagram: “Delighted to have joined this massive club today. Can’t wait to get going.”
Current Rangers ace Cantwell shared the post on his own Instagram with the caption: “Welcome to the famous.”

Cantwell’s warm welcome to Dowell is unsurprising given how the pair played together for Norwich not that long ago.
The former has been welcomed with open arms by the Rangers faithful, and he has repaid the faith shown in him by manager Michael Beale by starring for the club ever since his move.
Dowell can only hope that he hits the ground running at Ibrox like his former Canaries teammate, with the midfielder expected to link up with his new club at the beginning of July, allowing him to have as much time as possible to properly settle in.
It looks certain to be a good bit of business from Beale, who is moving swiftly on deals to bring in new players, before the transfer window has even got underway.
Dowell clearly wanted a new challenge, and where better to get that than at a club aiming to knock their fierce rivals Celtic off their perch.
In other Rangers news, one former Celtic defender has praised Cantwell and brandished the attacker as the “standout” signing in the SPFL.
