Daily Record share latest update on Rangers pursuit of Aris FC winger Luis Palma
Rangers are not interested in signing Aris FC winger Luis Palma this summer and he is not on the club’s radar according to Daily Record.
The light blues have been linked with a £4.4m bid for the Honduran winger, who was scouted in April and reports also state that the club have already opened talks with his agents.
But according to a new report by the Daily Record (17 May), the player is not of interest to Michael Beale and won’t be moving to Ibrox this season.
“Aris’s Honduran winger Luis Palma has been heavily linked with Rangers but Record Sport understands he is not on Beale’s or the Ibrox side’s radar,” they wrote.
Smokey
There’s an old saying that there is no smoke without fire, and there is an awful lot of smoke around the idea of Palma coming to Ibrox as the marquee attacking signing this summer.

Many people have been sceptical about the apparent price tag for a player who has never played at the highest level, but his age and obvious talent mixed with the fact it’s a priority position means it was possible.
There have been reports of bids being placed and the club’s sporting director even name-checked Rangers as a potential destination last week, so it seems unlikely that the club are just simply not interested at all.
However with that said, it wouldn’t be a huge shock to see him not arrive. There are said to be several interested parties and it’s an expensive deal for the club.
Malik Tillman is likely to cost slightly more and is someone that Beale has confirmed that he wants at the club, so if it comes down to one or the other then the American would surely get the nod.
In other Rangers news, one star has signed a pre-contract agreement to leave the club this summer.
