Fashion Sakala sent three-word message by Sunderland ace Amad Diallo after Rangers beat Celtic on day both score in key clashes

Amad Diallo has sent a three-word message to Rangers ace Fashion Sakala following the club’s 3-0 win over Celtic on Saturday (13 May).

Sakala scored his side’s third and final goal of the afternoon in the dominant display at Ibrox.

Diallo spent the second half of last season on loan at the Scottish Premiership club, where he played alongside Sakala.

“God bless,” Sakala posted on Instagram. “FS10 dreams don’t die. Read: 1 Chronicles 16:34. Thank you so much for your support.

His former Rangers teammate Diallo replied: “What a player.”

The Ivorian has been a major hit with Sunderland this season, with Gary Lineker calling him “seriously talented” on Twitter Saturday after his goal in the first-leg of the Championship play-offs against Luton.

Superb afternoon at Ibrox

It was a blistering display from the hosts, who blew their rivals away in all areas across the pitch on a sunny afternoon at Ibrox.

Celtic fans will claim that they were weakened by injuries to a handful of key players and that the match did not mean anything in the grand scheme of things.

Rangers

And while they have a point in terms of this season’s league campaign, it still represented a very important moment for Rangers boss Michael Beale, who had previously struggled to overcome Ange Postecoglou’s side.

It was also an important game for Sakala, who continued his fine run of scoring form, with the attacker needing to produce more moments like this in order to cement his place in the team for next season.

There will be a major overhaul at Ibrox this summer, and the attacker can ensure he remains in Beale’s good books by continuing to find the back of the net in the weeks to come.

In other Rangers news, the club’s official media partners Four Lads Had A Dream have waxed lyrical about the “incredible” performance of one player against Celtic.
