Barry Ferguson moots Ianis Hagi exit at Rangers as verdict shared on potential transfer fee
Barry Ferguson has predicted Rangers to receive a “decent fee” for Ianis Hagi should he leave the club this summer.
Hagi has been limited to just four Scottish Premiership appearances this season due to a knee injury.
His contract at Ibrox does not expire until 2026, but Ferguson believes there is a chance the 24-year-old could leave the club at the end of the season.

“Ianis Hagi has signed a long-term deal and if he were to go they might get a decent fee for him,” Ferguson wrote for the Daily Record.
Huge frustration for Hagi
It’s been a very frustrating season for the Romanian, who definitely could have improved his club’s chances of closing the gap on fierce rivals Celtic in all competitions given his talent.
But the unfortunate knee injury prevented him from doing that, with the attacker only just getting back on the pitch after a very long spell on the sidelines.

There is talk of him leaving Ibrox this summer, but that talk should be quickly quashed, with Hagi undoubtedly a very good option for Michael Beale when fully fit.
The manager will need a big, strong squad next season in order to challenge Celtic and compete on all fronts, and keeping Hagi there not only provides him with a familiar option, but saves him from delving into the transfer market and spending big money.
But it seems that nobody is safe from the manager’s plans this summer, with Hagi’s future in Scotland remaining up in the air.
The attacker could be forced to make way as his exit would certainly bring in a bigger fee than other exits at Ibrox.
