Dujon Sterling transfer news as Rangers medical update emerges
Dujon Sterling has undergone the first part of his medical with Rangers and is set to complete his move to Ibrox, according to the Daily Mail.
The Athletic reported on Thursday (11 May) that the 23-year-old had agreed a deal in principle to join Michael Beale at Rangers, despite a number of other offers being on the table.
The defender has been at Chelsea since under-eight level, but his contract at Stamford Bridge is now set to expire this summer.

Sterling has impressed while out on loan at Stoke City this season, making 28 appearances in all competitions, with the Championship club also wanting to make his move permanent this summer.

First of many
The need for change at Rangers this summer has been well documented, and it looks like Sterling could be the first of many fresh faces coming through the doors over the coming months.
Despite his youth, the right-back has gained some strong experience within the EFL, having already spent time on loan at Coventry City, Blackpool and Stoke City during his career.
Bringing in a player of Sterling’s quality in defence will add some much-needed competition for Rangers captain James Tavernier, who has blown hot and cold this season under Beale.
This signing is yet another indication of the type of personnel that the Gers are targeting in the summer transfer window.
After picking up Todd Cantwell and Nicolas Raskin in January, Beale clearly wants to inject youth into his first team and believes this is the best way to close the gap to Celtic at the top of the Scottish Premiership.
