John Bennett set to sign off on first Rangers player deal as Ryan Jack deal close
All of the news, since John Bennett was officially made chairman at Rangers, has been surrounding the large scale exodus around him in the boardroom.
Douglas Park has been followed out of the door by Ross Wilson, Stewart Robertson, Andrew Dickson and now Kenny Barclay as changes come thick and fast.
That has led to many questions regarding the future of those in the playing staff with Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos two of those to be confirmed as likely moving on.

The Sun reported on Wednesday 10 May that the midfield veteran is set to sign a one-year contract, with the agreement set to be rubber-stamped.
That is great news for Michael Beale, with Jack the only name he has really mentioned of those who are running out of contract at Ibrox in a matter of weeks.

So, it looks as though Bennett is finally set to sign off on his first player deal at Ibrox, rather than signing off on those who are leaving the club.
Whether on the pitch or in the boardroom, Rangers are set for huge changes that have been overdue for many years now after this disappointing season.
The Bears have long relied on these older players who are not making a positive difference anymore and have been left behind by those across the way in Glasgow.
Jack has proven this season that he can make a positive impact compared to the other names mentioned though, so a one-year deal is smart from the club.
Bennett is not afraid to make the big calls, but it looks like he has come to the right decision alongside Beale, who will no doubt lean on Jack to help the transition period with many new signings likely to arrive.
