Rangers fans can expect changes at Ibrox after James Bisgrove announcement – Chris Jack
Rangers fans are reportedly now likely to have more clarity in terms of decision making from the board with James Bisgrove at the helm.
The club made an official announcement that the former UEFA Sponsorship manager, who has been at the club will replace the highly unpopular Stewart Robertson.
This change was the third high-profile one at Ibrox with Douglas Park and Ross Wilson also leaving the club.

Chris Jack wrote in the Scottish Herald on 26 April, “Fans should expect Bisgrove to be front and centre, to be more visible and ultimately more accountable. Too often in recent times, the main influences at Ibrox have been hunkered down in a bunker at moments when supporters demanded them to own their failures as well as their successes.
“Bisgrove himself divides opinion amongst some but there is vast scope for progression and improvement sooner rather than later. It may have taken longer than some wished, but the time for change arrived at Ibrox.”
Much needed
In March, Ibrox News covered a piece on why Robertson needed to leave after videos surfaced on social media.
That seemed to be the last straw of his tenure at the club as there were protests with banners at Ibrox calling for him to quit.
Fans will feel that their efforts have been rewarded and this really can signal the start of a new era at the club.

That was said after Michael Beale was appointed as well but the main reason for Gers being where they are currently is the board and not the managers.
With Park, Wilson and Robertson out, there’s expected to be more transparency and fans should see decisions taken sooner and in the best interests of the club.
Bisgrove has been unpopular in the past but now starts with a clean slate and he’s got to prove why he deserves the CEO position.
In other Rangers news, the club may now approach a sporting director who built a Champions League winning team and can hire him for free.
