Neil McCann destroys Alfredo Morelos footage on BBC Sportscene in Rangers loss v Aberdeen
Neil McCann has destroyed Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos for his role in the first Aberdeen goal during the 2-0 defeat at Pittodrie on Sunday 23 April.
The BBC pundit was left scratching his head as the Colombian failed to hold up the ball before Liam Scales intercepted and his cross somehow found the net.
Michael Beale made it clear this week that he doesn’t expect Morelos to be at Ibrox from next season, and his performances continue to reflect that.
Speaking live on BBC Sportscene [23 April], McCann was not impressed with the attacker ahead of the opening goal at Pittodrie that kicktsarted things.
“He gets a huge slice of luck,” he said.
“Scales knows Morelos isn’t going to run him into the channel, so he can afford to be really aggressive and go and press.

“Morelos should be holding that up, it’s lazy from him, waiting on it.”
Poor.
It wasn’t just Morelos yesterday, but this is another example of it not being good enough.
Beale has some very big decisions to make over the summer, with multiple new signings needed, and multiple players being shown the exit door.
What is concerning is that every area on the pitch nearly needs looking at, from the goalkeeper and defence, to midfield and attack – that is the challenge ahead.
Morelos has been signed off for quite some time now with his contract running out, with Antonio Colak also getting a worrying lack of minutes under the gaffer.
With Fashion Sakala also wasting chances, it could take a couple of new faces in the final third to turn this around, not just one new attacking signing.
Morelos will be remembered fondly when he does move on, but if someone comes in with the right attitude, he will no doubt be long forgotten about sooner rather than later.
In other Rangers news, an official club partner was raging after the defeat to Aberdeen and sent a stark warning to Beale.
