Official Rangers partner rages after 2-0 loss v Aberdeen, issues Michael Beale same fate warning

Michael Beale has been told to rip up the Rangers squad or face the same fate as those before him after they were beaten 2-0 by Aberdeen.

The Gers turned in a horror performance to be well beaten at Pittodrie and see their slim title chances go up in smoke.

And reacting immediately to the defeat, club partner Four Lads Had A Dream issued a stark warning to the manager for next season while taking a swipe at the board too.

“The reality is IF we got some points back it would merely allow this club more excuses (we only lost the league by this, Euro final last year etc),” they wrote on their personal Twitter account (23 April).

“It can’t be allowed to happen. This squad needs to be ripped up.

“If Beale continues with it then his fate will be [the] same as those before him.”

Huge summer

The Scottish Cup semi-final at Hampden Park next weekend against Celtic now has even more added emphasis, because good teams don’t lose two games in a row.

Too often this season under Beale we have found ourselves getting away with poor performances against awful opposition to claim wins, but this game showed the level we’re really at right now.

The summer transfer window represents a huge opportunity for the club, board and manager to really show what they want to achieve and what their aspirations are.

Are they content with just competing, or do they want to win?

There are far too many passengers in this squad that are being kept around for sentimental reasons rather than because of what they can offer on the pitch.

If that doesn’t change for next season, then we’ll see no progress whatsoever.
