Michael Stewart wowed by Rangers footage on BBC Sportscene on Sunday
Michael Stewart was left wowed by the fifth goal in Rangers’ 5-2 win over St Mirren on Saturday 15 April, which included over 50 passes.
It was Scott Arfield who finished the move off with a deft finish through the legs of Trevor Carson to seal the three points after a somewhat nervous afternoon.
Todd Cantwell was at the heart of the move, with Stewart calling his part in the move “wonderful” before he laid it on a plate to seal his afternoon with a second assist and a goal.

Speaking live on BBC Sportscene, as shared on their website, Stewart was clearly wowed by what he was seeing from the huge win at Ibrox.
“It was an incredible goal for Rangers,” he said.
“You see Todd Cantwell picks up the ball around the halfway line when he drives forward right through the heart of the St Mirren defence, it’s a wonderful run and a great pass by Cantwell. It’s a nice cheeky finish through Carson’s legs.”

Incredible.
This is exactly what Michael Beale has delivered since arriving, a team with a real forward drive that can hurt the opposition from anywhere on the pitch.
50-plus passes later and the ball was in the back of the net, but it was Cantwell and his determination on the ball to beat more than three men to set it up that was the icing on the cake.
The former Norwich man is really coming into his own now and is taking the spotlight away from Malik Tillman, who potentially had too much pressure on his shoulders before this signing.
Cantwell is delivering assists and goals frequently, something that Ryan Kent has failed to do with his absence not exactly sorely missed as questions continue over his future.
That is certainly something to keep an eye in the weeks to come with big decisions to made about this squad ahead of the summer transfer window.
