Rangers star Kemar Roofe could make return from injury this week

Kemar Roofe could make a much-anticipated return to the Rangers squad to face Ross County this week, according to the Glasgow Times.

Michael Beale revealed on 2 February that Roofe was back outside on the training pitch but didn’t allude to any potential return date.

However, the Glasgow Times reports that despite there being a chance that Roofe makes his comeback from his shoulder injury, he may not be risked until next week.

Magic touch.

Beale seems to have some sort of magic touch at Rangers and everything looks to be moving in the right direction for the Light Blues at this moment in time.

Roofe’s return will give Beale another solid option to deploy in his attacking ranks and they don’t come much better than the fearsome forward in terms of raw talent.

He displayed this briefly before he got injured in Rangers’ Viaplay Cup semi-final win over Aberdeen and it’s this kind of form that Beale can look to when in need of goals.

Ianis Hagi’s return from a season-long injury helps matters too and the Rangers squad is finally starting to look like a team to be reckoned with.

That’s not to say that investment isn’t needed, it definitely is in the summer, but Beale at least now has multiple options to choose from for the rest of the campaign.

Rangers will now be looking to build on their terrific outing at Tynecastle against Hearts when they play Ross County this afternoon.
