Rangers want to sign Norwich ace Todd Cantwell as Ibrox triple signing lined up
Rangers are exploring the possibility to sign Norwich City midfielder Todd Cantwell, according to a report from The Sun.
The Gers will either try to sign him in the January window or look to agree a pre-contract deal now. He will become a free agent in the summer, and it doesn’t look like he will sign a new deal at Carrow Road.
Ahead of Sunday’s (8 January) Scottish Premiership against Dundee United, Michael Beale has admitted that he has spoken to two or three players and they are keen to arrive at Ibrox this month.

Experience
Cantwell will be a smart addition to the club.
The 24-year-old emerged from Norwich’s academy and has made over 125 appearances for the club, scoring 14 goals.
The midfielder impressed heavily in 2019-20 in the Premier League, where he scored seven goals.
This season he has made nine starts in the Championship, and a further nine appearances have come from the bench.
He is yet to score a goal or register an assist so far.

The attacking midfielder can play in multiple positions. He can play as a central midfielder, but he has been mostly used on the left wing this season.
It’s not clear how Beale wants to use him. Could he be a replacement for Ryan Kent who is yet to sign a new deal?
Beale could consider him for the central midfield role as well, probably as a long-term replacement for Ryan Jack.
The Bears can secure a pre-contract deal for Cantwell, but a move in January cannot be ruled out either.
In other Rangers news, the Gers want to sign this South American ace who’s playing in Europe.
