Rangers boss Michael Beale rules out certain signings in January transfer window
Rangers will avoid making any loan signings in the January transfer window to combat uncertainty, according to The Athletic journalist Jordan Campbell.
It could potentially be a busy month for Rangers with plenty of talents’ contracts coming to an end this summer, so a big clear out may be needed.
Campbell confessed that Michael Beale wants to have “clarity” on his squad by the end of the month and this is the reasoning behind his decision to avoid short-term deals.
“Beale says there will be no loan signings this window,” said Campbell on Twitter, following the manager’s press conference.
“Wants to take uncertainty away and by the end of the month hopes he has clarity on most of the squad whether they are out of contract or free to move on.”

Makes sense.
It’s a wise decision from Beale to avoid any short-term signings in January, especially when he’s trying to figure out who will be part of his squad for the coming campaigns.
Beale evidently wants to get his own signings in at the club, players who he can mould into what he sees fit for a Light Blues player to become.
Campbell also confirmed that Beale has spoken to two or three potential signings this week to tell them what he expects if they become a Gers player.
This all but solidifies the fact that the Light Blues will be making moves in the January transfer window and those switches will be on a permanent basis.
But in what positions you ask? Beale didn’t make that clear, but it’s evident that the club need some midfield reinforcements to bolster their engine room.
A new fearsome forward may also be on the agenda, especially when you consider Alfredo Morelos’ ongoing contract situation.
In other Rangers news, the Gers want to sign this South American ace who’s playing in Europe.
