Rangers would need to pay big fee to sign QPR attacker Chris Willock as speculation emerges
Rangers would need to pay a big fee to sign Queens Park Rangers attacker Chris Willock in the January transfer window, as suggested by journalist Alan Nixon.
Willock has not been linked with a move to Ibrox yet, but there are speculations that Michael Beale could raid his former club in January as he is looking to bolster his Rangers squad.
The Sun journalist wrote on Twitter (4 January), while answering a question on Willock, that even if the Bears make an attempt, “QPR would want big money” for the 24-year-old attacker.

Terrific player
The versatile attacking midfielder has been in sparkling form this season.
He thrived under Beale at QPR, and the Gers boss could look to bring him to Ibrox.
He has scored six goals and provided two assists in 18 Championship games this season, and brings with him loads of quality.
Known for his dribbling skills and an eye for killer passes, he could be an ideal replacement for Ryan Kent if the Bears winger decides to leave.

The best part about Willock is that he can play with equal confidence and grace on both flanks, but he is slightly more effective playing on the right.
He loves to cut inside and exchange passes in an around the box, thereby adding unpredictability to his game.
Willock improved a lot under the coaching of Neil Banfield at QPR. Banfield has joined Beale’s backroom stuff at Ibrox, and it’s an added incentive for Willock to move to Glasgow if there’s an offer on the table.
He has a contract at the London club until the end of the season, but QPR have an option to extend the deal for another year.
In other Rangers news, the Gers want to sign this South American ace who’s playing in Europe.
