Michael Beale is now ready to swoop for his transfer business at Rangers in the January transfer window, according to the Daily Record.

The newspaper reported in its print edition [January 3, pg. 40] that the Bears’ boss wants three new arrivals over the next four weeks at Ibrox.

With injuries and contract issues ravaging through the squad right now, Ross Wilson has his work cut out to please the new manager, who has already proven his worth.

Writing for the Daily Record on Tuesday 3 January, Newport shared what to expect from Ibrox in the coming weeks with plans now kickstarted.

“Michael Beale hopes to see up to three new arrivals at Ibrox in January,” he wrote.

“Rivals Celtic have already added Alistair Johnston, Tomoki Iwata and Yuki Kobayashi to Ange Postecoglou’s squad.

“But Beale is now ready to swoop after spending the past month assessing his new Ibrox squad.”

There were positive signs in the Old Firm draw with Celtic, as a wounded Rangers team dealing with plenty of injuries should have swept aside their full-strength rivals.

Beale is dealing with so many problems off the pitch right now, it is hard to imagine how difficult that it is for him to settle on his starting team each week.

Ross Wilson is going to have his work cut out, but he needs to prove his worth more than anyone this month after numerous windows of bringing in rubbish to the club.

The new manager has assessed his squad and will see the clear issues in midfield, and in the final third, with starting XI quality needed not more reserves.

Beale has officially started the rebuild at Ibrox, and that starts with bringing in fresh faces to suit your style more, and it could be even more important to finally let some go and cut out the dead wood.

All eyes are officially on Ibrox now.
