Rangers star Ryan Kent is steal in January as Ibrox transfer news appears this week
Rangers star Ryan Kent is a potential steal in the January transfer market and is facing the opportunity to leave Ibrox this month, according to journalist Dean Jones.
Kent has looked slightly rejuvenated since the arrival of new Rangers boss Michale Beale but this may not be enough to keep him at Ibrox.
Jones confessed that clubs who need a spark in the second half of the season and beyond will be looking at the potential £5million deal for Kent, who is in the final six months of his contract now.

“I think this is about to become a big opportunity for him as well as other clubs who need a spark in the second half of the season and beyond that,” said Jones as quoted by GIVEMESPORT.
“At £5million, this deal seems a steal, to be honest. There aren’t many players of that creativity that are available at that price right now, so it’s a really interesting situation.”

Tricky.
Letting Kent leave the club mid-season is a tricky decision to make and one which needs to be considered carefully by the Rangers hierarchy.
His 31 goals and 54 assists in 200 appearances for the club have made him a solid attacking outlet in recent years, although these numbers have dried up this campaign.
Despite this, Kent has looked a lot better since Giovanni van Bronckhorst left the club and it would be nice to see how he fares with a full Beale season under his belt.
Then again, cashing in whilst the club still can on arguably their most lucrative talent may also be wise, especially considering the nine-point gap between the Gers and Celtic at the moment.
If Rangers fall even further behind Celtic in the Old Firm on January 2 then it could be time to pull the curtains on Kent’s time at Ibrox.
There is still a chance of a new contract being discussed between the forward and Rangers, with luck, something can be sorted to put an end to this speculation soon.
In other Rangers news, Kris Boyd could only name two Ibrox stars in his Premiership team of the season so far while Andy Walker did not name any.
