Celtic fans embarrass themselves in Old Firm clash v Rangers after incident

Celtic fans once again absolutely embarrassed themselves in the latest Old Firm edition as Rangers remembered the victims of the Ibrox Disaster.

Four Lads Had a Dream shared that the minute silence was actually cut short as they laughed and jeered throughout before the start of the game in a shocking move.

What makes it worse, is that there were tributes to both Pele and Frank McGarvey, in what proved to be a classless move from the small travelling support.

Writing on their official Twitter account, Four Lads shared what happened at Ibrox ahead of kick-off in the latest Old Firm of the season in Glasgow.

“Celtic fans force minute silence to be cut short as they laugh and jeer throughout,” they wrote.

Embarrassing.

Could you stoop any lower?

There has to be a line and incidents such as these will only make sure that the low ticket allocations for away fans in these Old Firm games remain the same.

Fans have complained that there aren’t thousands in the away ends when these games come around but is it any surprise anymore? Especially when you consider fools such as these getting the tickets.

It didn’t get any better on the pitch either to start with, as Celtic dominated to start with and it didn’t help when we handed them the opening goal from slack play, but that changed very quickly in the second half.

The atmosphere in an Old Firm is among the best in the world, but there is a fine line between that and someone ruining it, and it was Celtic fans who did just that before the game even began.

This is something that needs to be stomped out of the Old Firm and quickly, it is not good enough.

In other Rangers news, Kris Boyd could only name two Ibrox stars in his Premiership team of the season so far while Andy Walker did not name any.
